The villa (12 sleeping accommodations) stands in panoramic position near Vicchio, in the Mugello region, on the Tuscan Apennines, just a few kilometres from Florence. The area is dotted with Medicean villas and less-renowned but nevertheless interesting Romanesque parish churches. Sporty guests can dedicate to long hikes or bike- and horse rides along the routes stretching around the estate; alternatively, they can do water sports on the lake of Bilancino. Not far from the villa is a large outlet village, where shopaholics will find the most important Italian and foreign fashion labels. Important Tuscan cities of and culture, such as Arezzo, Pisa, Florence, Siena and Lucca, are easily reached by car for pleasant one-day trips. The elegant building is surrounded by a wide park, in which are the swimming pool (15x7.5 m; exclusively reserved to guests) equipped with sun loungers and sunshades, the barbecue equipment, a grove of century-old trees and a private chapel. Possibility of eating al fresco in a loggia furnished table and chairs. The recently renovated villa features elements that are typical of the Tuscan houses, including terracotta-tiled floors and beamed ceilings, is furnished in period style and decorated with valuable prints. The windows and the balconies overlook the valley of Mugello. A baby cot is supplied upon request. Two internal staircases connect the two floors of the villa (6 double bedrooms and 7 bathrooms). The villa composes of entrance hall, fully equipped kitchen, three living rooms with fireplace, dining room, 2 double bedrooms with ensuite bathroom either with shower or bathtub, 4 double-bedded rooms and 5 bathrooms. Two double-bedded rooms open onto a loggia, whereas one of the double bedrooms features a wide balcony.
