The farmhouse stands at an altitude of about 250 meters in the heart of the Tuscan countryside, in Montelupo Fiorentino (Florence)
Montelupo Fiorentino is situated in an area that has been inhabited since the Palaeolithic Age, as demonstrate the many finds brought to light in the surroundings. Some Etruscan tombs and a Roman villa have been recently discovered near the town's historic center.
However, Montelupo Fiorentino is renowned all over the world mainly for its ceramics. In the Renaissance, the town was a very important center of ceramics production. Some items produced in Montelupo have been unearthed in archaeological sites in Latin America, as well as in Scotland and in the Philippines.
In Montelupo Fiorentino is also Ambrosiana, one of the many Medicean villas scattered in Tuscany.
Description
The farmhouse is an excellent accommodation for those who wish to relax in the peaceful Florentine countryside and at the same time want to visit Tuscany's most important cities of art: Pisa, Lucca, Florence, Siena, Vinci (Leonardo's home town), Certaldo (where the Italian writer and poet Giovanni Boccaccio was born), San Gimignano and Colle Val d'Elsa are within short driving distance.
Sporty guests can visit the golf club, the riding stable and the tennis club within a few kilometers of the estate.
The private swimming pool (4x11 m; depth: 0.50-1.80 m) in the garden that surrounds the building and furnished with sun loungers and sunshades commands the surrounding hills.
The large porch is furnished for guests to have their meals al fresco.

The villa is a two-story building consisting of kitchen/dining room, living room with fireplace, seven double bedrooms with ensuite bathroom with shower and an eight bathroom.
Adjacent to the villa is an apartment composed of living room with kitchenette and a double sofa bed, a double bedroom and a bathroom with shower.
