Built in the 18th century in Rignano sull`Arno, on the hills of Upper Valdarno, not far from Florence, the villa (sleeping 12) is surrounded by a wide park and by 40 hectares of cultivated land. The farm produces olive oil, wine, vegetables and fruit that guests can purchase as a souvenir of their vacations in Tuscany. After a refreshing bath in the private swimming pool (12x6 m; depth: 1.50 m) furnished with deck chairs and gazebos, guests can organize a barbecue in the garden that commands the valley of the Arno River, the hills of Chianti and the mountains of Pratomagno, while children amuse themselves in the playground equipped with some tricycles and a swing. The wide park and the large, soberly furnished rooms of this villa, which in the early 20th century Enrico Fermi chose as his summer residence, are an excellent location for romantic weddings and wonderful ceremonies. The Parco Nazionale delle Foreste Casentinesi, Arezzo, Florence, Siena and many other Tuscan tourist destinations are within easy driving distance for pleasant one-day trips. The villa (5 double bedrooms, 1 double sofa bed and 4 bathrooms) is a two-story building consisting in a well-equipped kitchen, three living rooms with fireplace, five double bedrooms (one with a double sofa bed and three with ensuite bathroom) and a fourth bathroom.
