Location The villa stands at an altitude of 280 meters on the hills of Montalbano, in the municipality of Capraia e Limite (Florence), in Lower Valdarno. Lower Valdarno is the name of a wide Tuscan region that stretches from Florence to the mouth of the Arno River, passing from the province of Pisa. The area presents a landscape made of gentle hills covered with olive groves and vineyards, where stand Montelupo Fiorentino, the town of ceramics, and many medieval small towns that house several examples of Tuscan Romanesque art, such as Calci and San Miniato. Description The villa furnished in the traditional Tuscan style is surrounded by a wide garden dotted with century-old trees in which are a table-tennis table and a football pitch. The panoramic private swimming pool (13x6 m; depth: 1.10-2.50 m) affords a wonderful view of the surrounding countryside. In front of the swimming pool is a pergola furnished with the barbecue equipment and a table for guests to have their meals in the open air. Around the property wind several paths for wonderful walks or bike rides. A golf club, a riding stable and a tennis club are within a few kilometers of the villa. Moreover, the villa is a few kilometers from Vinci, which is renowned for having given birth to Leonardo, Empoli and Montelupo Fiorentino. San Gimignano and its towers, Certaldo, Giovanni Boccaccio`s birthplace, Pisa and Florence are within easy driving distance.
