Location
The farmhouse stands at an altitude of about 235 meters above sea level on the hills of Chianti, near Greve in Chianti, a municipality in the province of Florence situated along via Chiantigiana, the road that connects the main town of Tuscany to Siena.
Thanks to its strategic position at the junction of the roads that lead to Valdarno and Val di Greve with the one that connected Florence to Siena, in the Middle Ages Greve in Chianti, which was under the rule of the castle of Montefioralle, hosted the most important market in the area.
Apart from the burg of Montefioralle, in the neighborhoods of Greve in Chianti are many castles, the most important being those of Uzzano, Mugnano and Verrazzano. The last of the three belonged to the family of the famous explorer Giovanni da Verrazzano, who is immortalized in the statue that stands at the center of Greve main square.
Description
The farmhouse is a beautiful stone building that has been recently renovated with an eye to maintaining its original architectural features and furnished in the traditional Tuscan rustic style.
The farmhouse stands in a peaceful area in the Tuscan countryside and commands a splendid view of the surrounding vineyards and olive groves and of nearby Florence.
The building is surrounded by a wide garden in which are the private swimming pool (10x5 m; depth: 1.50 m), a table for guests to have their meals in the open air and the barbecue equipment.
The small towns of the Chianti region, Florence, Arezzo, Siena, Pisa and many other Tuscan tourist destinations are within short driving distance.

The farmhouse is a two-story building composed of kitchen, living room with fireplace and dining area, passageway room, laundry room, three double bedrooms, three twin bedrooms and three bathrooms with shower.
A panoramic terrace is on the first floor.
