The farmhouse (14+1 sleeping accommodations) is situated right at the centre of Tuscany, not far from Montaione, in Empoli countryside. It is the ideal accommodation for those who would like to visit the major Tuscan cities of art - Florence, Lucca, Pisa and Siena - and discover the small medieval jewels settled on the gentle Tuscan hills, such as San Gimignano, Volterra and Colle Val d`Elsa. The seaside resorts along the Tyrrhenian coast are within easy car distance, as well. Nature lovers can hike and do wonderful horseback and bike rides along the numerous routes that surround the estate. A riding stable, a tennis club and the 18-hole golf course of the Castelfalfi Golf Club are in the neighbourhood.
A wide park of about 25,000 m² and 3 hectares of olive groves, vineyards and orchards surround the building. In the park are the
swimming pool (4x7 m), at guests` disposal from May to September, a regular
five-a-side-football pitch and a
children`s playground. The large courtyard in front of the farmhouse is furnished with table and chairs for eating al fresco.
The farmhouse has been recently renovated and provided with all comforts (satellite TV, barbecue equipment, washing machine, dishwasher, stereo system with CD player and DVD player). It features some elements traditionally found in the Tuscan country houses: big brick arches, beamed ceilings and terracotta-tiled floors. A cot bed is supplied upon request. The farmhouse has a private car park. Pets are welcome.
