Location

The beautiful villa stands in the heart of the Tuscan countryside, just a few kilometers from Empoli.

The archaeological finds discovered in the area demonstrate that the plain of Empoli has been inhabited since the Palaeolithic. However, the toponym Empoli made its appearance only in the 8th century, when a castle called Empolum (or Empolis) stood in the part of the town now called Empoli Vecchio. After having been conquered by Florence in 1182, in the 13th century Empoli became an important fortified town that was besieged several times over the centuries but was conquered only in 1530.

The town is rich in churches and ancient palaces, the most important being the Collegiate Church of Sant'Andrea, the Palazzo Pretorio and the Palazzo Ghibellino.

The beautiful villa with large and bright rooms is the ideal solution for those who want to visit all the major Tuscan cities of art and relax in the peaceful countryside at the same time.
Florence historic center with its famous monuments is about 25 kilometers from the villa and is easily reached not only by car but also by train, like Siena, Pisa, Lucca and Arezzo. Within a few kilometers of the villa are also many Medicean villas and the towns of Montelupo Fiorentino, Vinci and Certaldo. The villa is an excellent departure point for visiting the Chianti district.

The building furnished in modern style is surrounded by a wide and well-tended garden that, like the private swimming pool (15x7 m; depth: 0.60-1.50 m) next to the house, is exclusively reserved to guests.
The barbecue equipment is at guests' disposal in the garden.
A beautiful loggia is furnished for having meals al fresco.

The owners of the villa live nearby and will be glad to help guests in case of need.

The villa is a two-story building composed of kitchen, living room with fireplace and dining area, three double bedrooms (one with ensuite bathroom shower and one with ensuite bathroom with whirlpool bathtub and shower), a twin bedroom and another bathroom with shower.

The villa is equipped with barbecue, fireplace, DVD player/recorder, piano (can be used only upon request), whirlpool bathtub and shower, oven, fridge with ice maker, espresso coffee maker and private car parking space.
