Ancient country church converted into a farmhouse close to Cortona (Arezzo), in Valdichiana. Sleeps 5, garden, swimming pool, barbecue. Tennis courts and riding stables in the neighborhood. Situated in Valdichiana, near Cortona, in the province of Arezzo, the farmhouse (5 sleeping accommodations) in the origin was a country church, which was transformed into a country house after 1577. Of the medieval church it has maintained a peculiar bell-shaped window, some truss-beams and a fresco representing Saint Sylvester, the saint to whom the church was entitled. The farmhouse is an excellent departure point for visiting many tourist destinations in Valdichiana - Anghiari, Caprese Michelangelo, Sansepolcro - and in Tuscany - Pienza, Siena, Montepulciano, Florence. A tennis club and a riding stable are a few kilometers from the estate.
In the garden that surrounds the farmhouse, furnished with tables, chairs and deck chairs, are the barbecue equipment and the
swimming pool (11x5 m). The latter is about 20 meters from the building and is shared with the owners, who live nearby and will be glad to guests in case of need.
The farmhouse comes with all comforts (TV set, working fireplace, fridge, freezer, oven, washing machine, hair dryer) and has an uncovered private parking.

On the first floor is a loggia that overlooks the Valdichiana.
