Tuscany Vacation Villas

Location

The villa stands at an altitude of about 280 meters on the hills of Valdichiana, a region that stretches between the Tuscan provinces of Arezzo and Siena and down to Lake Trasimeno, in Umbria.

Rich in artistic and natural beauties, Valdichiana is renowned also for some delicacies: the chianina, the famous bovine breed used to prepare Fiorentina-style steaks, takes its name from the valley. Moreover, excellent wines such as Nobile and Rosso di Montepulciano are produced in Valdichiana, although in the Sienese part.


Description

The villa, an ancient mill that has been renovated and converted into a vacation house, is an excellent departure point for visiting Arezzo, Cortona, Castiglione Fiorentino, Montepulciano and the whole Valdichiana region, but also for wonderful one-day jaunts to Lake Trasimeno, Florence and Siena.
An outlet village selling high fashion items at keen prices is a few kilometers from the property.

The fenced private swimming pool (8x4 m; depth: 1.30-1.70 m) exclusively reserved to guests is in the fully fenced garden that surrounds the villa.
An outdoor area is equipped for having meals al fresco.


Accommodation

The villa is a two-story building composed of kitchen, dining area with fireplace, living area with access to the outdoor, a double bedroom with a private bathroom, a not completely closed double bedroom (minimum height: 1.20 m) and a bathroom with shower.
One of the bedrooms is accessed from the dining area and the other from the living room.


Facilities and Services

The villa is equipped with barbecue, fireplace, oven, freezer and private parking place.
A domestic help is available upon request.

Some food shops are 2 kilometers from the villa; other shops and services of any kind a railway station are 4.5 kilometers from the property.
