Location The villa stands at an altitude of about 260 meters on the hills of Casentino, near Subbiano and a few kilometers from Arezzo and the border between Tuscany and Umbria. Every year of the second last Saturday of June and the first Sunday of September Arezzo hosts the famous Giostra del Saracino, which was probably created in the 13th century. An Antique fair takes place in the streets and squares of Arezzo town center on the first weekend of each month. Description The imposing villa is part of an ancient cluster of buildings immersed in the forests of Casentino and dating back to the 12th century. Sansepolcro, Cortona, Monterchi, Poppi, Caprese Michelangelo and many other tourist destinations in Tuscany and central Italy are easily reached by car. Arezzo, Siena and Florence are reached also by train. The wide and fully fenced garden that surrounds the villa is equipped with a hammock, a masonry barbecue and outdoor furniture. The private swimming pool (12x8 m; depth: 1.50 m) equipped with sun loungers and parasols is exclusively reserved to guests. Accommodation The property composes of the main villa and an apartment accessed from the courtyard. The main villa is a two-story building composed of kitchen with fireplace, two living rooms, the dining room, four double bedrooms, a twin bedroom, a triple bedroom, a single bedroom and four bathrooms with bathtub and hand shower. The apartment is on the first floor and composes of dining area with kitchen corner, living room with fireplace and wood-burning stove, storeroom, a double bedroom, a twin bedroom and a bathroom with shower. A shared area composed of a room with table-tennis table, a living room with tables and fireplace, a kitchen and a half bathroom is accessed from the courtyard. Facilities and Services The villa is equipped with masonry barbecue, fireplace, wood-burning stove, table-tennis table, oven, microwave oven, freezer, American-style coffee maker, espresso coffee maker, tumble dryer and private car parking place. A domestic help is provided upon request. Dinners can be organized at the property upon request. Shops and services of any kind are 3 kilometers from the villa.
