Location

The villa stands in scenic location at an elevation of about 500 meters on the hills around Cortona.

Cortona is a town of Etruscan origin in the province of Arezzo that every year on the second Sunday of June hosts the so-called Giostra dell'Archidado, an arbalest shooting competition preceded by a parade commemorating the marriage of the lord of Cortona, Francesco Casali, with the Sienese noblewoman Antonia Salimbeni.

In the summer, Cortona hosts also Cortona on the Move, a festival dedicated to travel photography.


Description

The beautiful stone house is an excellent solution for those who dream of pleasant and relaxing vacations in the peaceful countryside of Valdichiana as well as for those who want to visit some of the most important Tuscan cities of art: Arezzo, Florence, Siena and many other less-known but certainly not less interesting towns are within easy driving distance.

The garden that surrounds the house is equipped with barbecue, table and chairs for dining in the open air.
The private swimming pool (8x6 m; depth: 1.50 m) overlooks Valdichiana lush woodlands.

The villa is a two-story building consisting of living room with dining area, kitchen corner and fireplace, two double bedrooms, a bedroom with a double and a single bed and two bathrooms with shower.
