Location

The beautiful villa is set at an elevation of about 360 meters on the hills of Sienese Chianti, near Gaiole in Chianti.

In the territory of this small town situated on the gentle Tuscan hills covered with olive groves and vineyards stands the Castle of Brolio, an imposing building in medieval and Neo-gothic style. Since 1141 the castle has belonged to the Ricasoli family, and it is right in this castle that in 1872 count Bettino Ricasoli invented the receipt of the famous Chianti wine.

The Castles of Meleto and Vertine and the Pieve di Spaltena are in the territory of Gaiole in Chianti, as well.


Description

The elegant building immersed in the typical Tuscan landscape made of woodland and vineyards is surrounded by a beautiful garden that overlooks the valley below. A wide solarium area is equipped with deck chairs and a gazebo with table and chairs, whereas a terrace is furnished for dining al fresco.
The private swimming pool (3.5x7 m; depth: 1.40 m) in front of the house is heated upon request.
A Finnish sauna is at guests' disposal in the garden.

Well-being itineraries with winetherapy, hydromassage, chromotherapy and massages are organized in the property.

The villa is an excellent accommodation for having wonderful vacations in close contacts with nature in the utmost peace and privacy.
Siena, Florence, Montalcino, Montepulciano, the Val d'Orcia and the Crete Senesi regions and Pienza are within easy driving distance.

The villa is a three-story building composed of kitchen, living room with fireplace, living room with dining area, three double bedrooms with private bathroom and a twin bedroom with private bathroom.

The bedroom on the first floor has an access to a panoramic balcony.
One of the bathrooms features a whirlpool bathtub.
