Location

Perched at an altitude of about 370 meters, the villa (once a farmhouse) is located near Tavarnelle, a charming village in Val di Pesa.

Tavarnelle is situated along the road connecting Florence and Siena and features an interesting museum of sacred art. The former Franciscan friary of Borghetto and the Romanesque church of San Pietro in Bossolo are worth a visit as well. In the vicinity of Tavarnelle are also the abbey of San Michele Arcangelo in Passignano and the sanctuary of Santa Maria delle Grazie in Pietracupa.


Description

The villa is located in a very peaceful area in the Tuscan countryside. The windows and the garden afford wonderful views of the green rolling hills that surround the property.
The ideal lodging for relaxing vacations far from the hectic city life, the villa is also an excellent solution for those who want to visit some of the most renowned Tuscan cities of art and tourist destinations: Florence, Siena, San Gimignano, the whole Chianti region, Pienza and Montepulciano are easily reached by car.

The private swimming pool (6x12 m; depth: 1.20-2 m) a few meters from the house is exclusively reserved to guests.
The garden is equipped with a gazebo, a masonry barbecue and a table for dining al fresco.

The villa is a two-story building composed of kitchen, living room with dining area, two double bedrooms (one with a private bathroom with shower), two twin bedrooms and a second bathroom with shower.

The villa is equipped with masonry barbecue, fans, DVD player, oven, freezer and private car parking space.
A baby sitter and a domestic help are available upon request.

Shops and services of any kind are 500 meters from the property and are easily reached on foot.
