Location
The charming vacation villa is situated near Bolgheri, a village in the municipality of Castagneto Carducci, along the Etruscan Coast, in the province of Livorno.
The castle of Bolgheri was mentioned for the first time with this name in a document dated 1158, but it has far more ancient origins. After having been destroyed and ravaged several times in the course of the centuries, the castle flourished again in the 18th century, when the surrounding marshes were reclaimed, which favored the development of agriculture in the area.
Bolgheri is renowned mainly for the road bordered with cypress trees that leads to the 18th-century Oratory of San Guido, which Giosuè Carducci chanted in his poem "Davanti a San Guido". Close to the village stands the ancient fortress of Castiglioncello di Bolgheri.
Bolgheri natural reserve was established in 1959. At the time, it was the first private natural oasis in Italy, and in 1968 it became a WWF oasis. In the nature reserve live roe deer, squirrels, rabbits, owls, cranes, starlings, duck hawks and mallards.
Bolgheri is renowned also for the excellent red wines produced in its countryside.
Description
The villa is the ideal accommodation for those who dream of relaxing holidays on the wonderful beaches of the Etruscan Coast (Marina di Bibbona is just a few kilometers from the villa) and at the same time want to visit the archaeological, artistic and natural beauties of central-western Tuscany. Moreover, many important cities of art, including San Gimignano, Volterra, Lucca, Siena and Pisa, are within easy driving distance.
A recently renovated building furnished in Tuscan rustic style, the villa is surrounded by a wide garden in which are the private swimming pool (9x4.5 m; depth: 1.20 m) and the barbecue equipment.
The outdoor loggia is furnished with table and chairs for guests to have their meals al fresco.

The villa is a two-story building composed of living room with fireplace, dining area, kitchenette and double sofa bed, a double bedroom, a twin bedroom, a bathroom with shower and a half bathroom.

The villa is equipped with barbecue, working fireplace, oven, freezer and private car parking place.
A maid service is available upon request.
