Location The property is perched on the Chianti hills, between Certaldo (Florence) and San Gimignano (Siena). A region mainly renowned for its vineyards and the homonymous red wine produced there, the Chianti is a land rich in castles and picturesque medieval towns. An unusual and less-renowned destination is the Parco Sculture del Chianti, a wide park decorated with sculptures by contemporary artists from all over the world. Moreover, in autumn, Chianti's unpaved roads are the protagonists of the Eroica, a race in the saddle of vintage bicycles. Description The ideal accommodation for relaxing in close contact with nature, the property consists of a recently-renovated main house and a small outbuilding. Around the two buildings stretches a garden in which are the barbecue equipment, a small pond and the private swimming pool (8x4 m; depth: 1.50 m). A covered terrace is furnished with table and chairs for having meals in the open air. Important cities of art, such as Florence, Siena, Lucca, Pisa, the whole Chianti region and many other Tuscan tourist destinations are within easy driving distance. Accommodation The main villa is a one-story building composed of dining area with kitchen corner, living room with fireplace, a twin bedroom, a double bedroom and two bathrooms. A second double bedroom and another bathroom are in the outbuilding. Facilities and Services The villa is equipped with outdoor shower, barbecue, fireplace, fans, oven, microwave oven, freezer and private car parking place. A domestic help is available upon request. A café and a pizzeria are 1.5 kilometers from the villa. Shops and services of any kind and a railway station are 5 kilometers from the property.
