The villa was built around 1400 as a defensive bastion of the nearby Malaspina castle. The elegant interiors have warm terracotta-tiled floors and beamed ceilings and the rooms are decorated with a collection of ancient prints and antiques. The structure is provided with all comforts (Internet connection, CD player, stereo system, ceiling fans in every room). At guests` disposal: barbecue equipment for organising amusing meals in the open air in the patio furnished with elegant outdoor table and armchairs. Guided tours and excursions in the neighbourhood are organised upon request.
