Tuscany Vacation Villas

The elegant villa (10+1 sleeping accommodations) was built in the 16th century in Garfagnana, about 40 kilometres from Lucca. Immersed in the green Tuscan countryside, the villa is an excellent starting point for visiting important cities of art, including Pisa, Lucca and Florence. Those who love beach life and the sea will have the opportunity of spending pleasant days in Viareggio and in the other towns of Versilia, all easily reached by car.

The estate is fenced and in the Italian garden surrounding the building lies an outdoor swimming pool (10x5 m). The wooden pool side is furnished with gazebos and sun loungers. An ancient well next to the swimming pool has been covered and transformed into a whirlpool bathtub. In origin a sentry post, the lemon house has been converted into a fitness and relax area and furnished for eating al fresco. The wonderful hanging terrace overlooks the majestic Apuan Alps.

The villa is provided with all comforts (Internet connection, satellite TV, CD player, DVD player, car park, washing machine, dishwasher, electric oven, gas oven and fireplace) and is furnished in period style. Ancient frescoes decorate the ceiling of the lounge. A cot bed, some cartoon tapes for children and several trekking maps are at guests` disposal.

The two-storey building (4 double bedrooms, 2 single bedrooms, 4 bathrooms and 1 half bathroom) is divided into kitchen, storeroom, tea room, dining room with fireplace, reading room, library, music lounge, "secret garden", 3 double-bedded rooms, 1 twin-bedded room, 1 bedroom with super-single bed, 1 single bedroom, 2 bathrooms with bathtub, 1 bathroom with shower and 1 bathroom with whirlpool shower.
