Immersed in the green Tuscan Maremma, the farmhouse (4+1 sleeping accommodations) stands on a hill at the border of the provinces of Grosseto and Siena, in Civitella Paganico, close to Roccastrada. The estate is surrounded by 60 hectares of wood inhabited by a varied wildlife. The farmhouse enjoys a
wonderful view of the surrounding countryside and of the nearby village of Pari. Mount Amiata is to be seen in the distance.
The thermal waters flowing in the estate are reached with a thirty-minute walk or with a short drive.
Guests are granted the opportunity of dipping in the stream.
Not far from the farmhouse is Bagni di Petriolo with its
thermal establishments. In the past important historical figures, members of the Medici and Gonzaga families and Pope Pius II visited these thermal baths, which date back to the 13th century and are widely renowned for the highly therapeutic properties of their waters.
The farmhouse is provided with all comforts (car park, satellite TV with SKY decoder for watching free channels, fireplace, dishwasher, washing machine, iron, microwave oven and electric oven) and features a wide garden, where are a
brick barbecue and an
oven with porch. Possibility of eating outdoor, under a shed furnished with table and chairs. In case of need, guests can contact two people living nearby, who speak fluent English and German.

The farmhouse composes of two units. The rented apartment (2 double bedrooms + supplementary bed and 2 bathrooms) is on the first floor and composes of loggia-entryway, fully equipped kitchen, living room with fireplace, 1 double-bedded room, 1 twin-bedded room and 2 bathrooms (one with shower). Possibility of adding a supplementary bed in one of the bedrooms. On the ground floor: laundry area.
